I managed to stay single until 1999, traveling the world while all my friends got divorced. Got married with my exotic dream girl from Thailand, and now we're raising my son and daughter. Fatherhood and geezerhood all at the same time!

WOW - 50 years sure went by fast! After graduating from UCLA, I taught elementary school in Los Angeles before becoming a consultant in Special Education for the district. My last assignment was as an elementary school principal. In June 2006, after 30 + years in education, I joyfully retired. Since then, I have been having an exciting time traveling the world, visiting friends, volunteering, and enjoying life in general! It was great seeing everyone at the 50th Reunion activities, and hearing about what people are up to now. I found it quite interesting touring Franklin and seeing how the campus has changed. I'm still serving on the Reunion Committee, and we are planning on a reunion picnic on October 4, 2014 to celebrate our 52nd year out. Hope you will join us! Sue

Hello everyone,Enjoyed the 50th class reunion. Some people, their looks didn't change much, maybe just a little older looking, didn't recognize others, but everyone looked GREAT! It was wonderful to hear the accomplishments of others and how their lives turned out. Married 51 years, to a wonderful man, Donald, he is a retired artist/ illustrator. For years I was involved with the American Red Cross, teaching their CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor courses. I am a teacher at Hoover High School in Glendale. We were blessed with one son, four grand-children and 3 great-grand-children. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the October picnic. |
