The Franklin Educational Foundation (FEF)

More that fifty years ago we left Franklin after having been provided the opportunity to learn what we needed to learn to be successful as adults. Today, the same process continues and the present day students seek the same experiences and the opportunities that we had in high school. To that end the Franklin Educational Foundation that provides scholarships for current students to attend college.

We can make a difference in the life of a Franklin students by participating in this program!

This foundation is the same one many of you donated to when we had our 50th reunion and you were asked for donations. The check sent to the foundation from our reunion was $3300. At the bottom of this page you will see a letter thanking the class for our donation.

The Franklin Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that has awarded 100% of the donations it has received in scholarships since it’s founding in 1964. Last year the Foundation awarded over $120,000 to Franklin students in scholarships. The donations are tax-deductible.

The Foundation sends letters of acknowledgment to its donors.  Donations can be made by check payable to "Franklin Educational Foundation" and mailed to, Franklin Educational Foundation, c/o Benjamin Franklin High School College Office, 820 N. Avenue 54, Los Angeles, CA 90042. Donations will be acknowledged for income tax purposes.
